First air frost of the month here with a low of -0.6C (it came close on the 5th with 0.3C).

yesterday morning low was -0.9°C but there was no frost as it clouded over and was 3.6°C by awake time.

A comparatively mild +2.7deg here at present, must be catching some breeze from NW.

It's been A light NW here for much of the day. 3.5C at the moment, the warmest it has been for this time of the day for a while.
Good ground frost this morning here with ice in water puddles for much of the day.

Just looked back to check, -13.7deg,a lot people in my area had similar temps

Very impressive temps there Richard, I suspect there's so many places in NZ that don't have weather stations that would have recorded below -25C (on top of my cook would be one!!)

Not too cold this morning here,only -4.6deg there was a bit of cloud about 10.00pm which helped stop it getting to low,it was -0.5 then

Not as cold here as at the airport but I think that's cause we have fog here, which is frozen fog with a temp of -1.6c. Airport is -3.2 so I can only assume the fog is the cause of temp difference.
