I dont know if i am just being picky , but i find that the 10 day forecast for example Christchurch seems very lazy and well off.
When its going to be a NE day you will get a rediculous temperature of say 27C then the next day its NW winds and 20C, everyone knows a NWer is warmer than a NE generally speaking in a high situation for Canterbury.
Or the fact it says " some rain light winds", to me if your going to have a 10 day forecast you may as well do it properly and change it as the days wear on.

Yes, I click to the 10 day forecasts, instead of the other one, as it has a better possible picture of what to expect for the next 10 days
I can't understand, also, why the daily or extended forecast is on the next page in, from their home page, on Towns and Cities? ...and also it's down at the bottom of that page? Strange place to put it. sometimes when I run the mouse down there, it disappears and have to click again. Why towns and cities, where the towns and cities are clickable on their front page?. Duplication there. The country's forecasts should be like what it was on their previous web-site, on their front page, mind you I'm a bit late for saying that as their new Website has been up for a few months now, mind you, not many people have complained?.
Surely people who want an instant forecast will click onto their homepage and the forecast is there, in their face instead of looking around the site for it., instead of all the junk they have on the front page.

I don't know why they bother with a '10 day' forecast. Most of the time, it's completely different to what actually happens in the end, ie, 'rain with light winds' actually ends up being 'fine with a strong northerly' as an example. Even the 'moderated' 6 days under regional is dodgy at times.

Note that it states on their daily forecasts that temps for the first 4 (or 5) days are manually produced by meteorologists, so not really a website issue. The days after that however are automatically computer-generated.

I think that their 2-hourly forecasts, also computer-generated and unmoderated, are meant to show what temps might be at 2-hourly intervals, rather than the day's actual highs or lows.

(no automatic weather station) we are not sure what you are referring to. If you are finding expected
Information to be missing, then deleting your temporary and history files will solve this
