New Zealand daily rainfall totals

Hi, can someone please tell me where the best place is to look at daily rainfall figures for New Zealand locations. Specifically I would like to know what Milford Sound gets on a daily basis. The MetService website only seems to have rainfall figures for the major centres unless I'm looking in the wrong place... Same goes for historical data

NIWA data base has it all.

NIWA has a wealth of info at their CliFlo database (you'll need to register, but it's free).

There are 2 gauges near Milford Sound Aero; one is an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) operated by MetService, while the other is manually read by an authorised observer.
