Looks like the West Coast of the South Island and Southland are likely to see some rain, okay weather elsewhere hopefully .

Im off camping up the top of the South Island, would rather the rain stayed away.

Agree...Im camping near Kaikoura,looks Ok on the east coast at this stage,possible southerly on Easter Sunday.

Still looks like rain periods for the West Coast of the SI over Easter and afternoon showers likely for parts of the NorthIsland. There looks to be a more significant cold/rain system heading for NZ next week but this may arrive after Easter.

Looking like moist air over northern areas over Easter and some upper level troughing. Showers definitely a possibility.
Looks like a major trough in the Tasman next week.
