I think it's light drizzle now, being blown every which way by the wind.joliver657 wrote:Still raining?Orion wrote:30mm rain here so far.

just got home from chch from being out for a lovely meal.
Come home to heavier rain in rolleston, interesting the SE wind direction and BP shelters the city alot yet in rolleston we are far enough to get out of that sheltering affect, good for snow then lol

As i say what you need to watch for is activity out in Pegasus Bay because thats the general area that its going to start streaming in from soon.
Looks like some good thunderstorms in the rain band about Blenhiem at the moment, and maybe offshore from Kaikoura.
Still dry here with 12C and the station now reads a positive SE wind direction.

Yes. I see that on the Radar, Mikey.
Rain now coming in from the SE as appossed to moving SW.

Must be only in the cloud as Blitzortung only shows CG strikes as I believe?Richard wrote:Looks that way but nothing is showing on BlitzortungStorm Struck wrote: Looks like some good thunderstorms in the rain band about Blenhiem at the moment, and maybe offshore from Kaikoura.
