Thunderstorms upper North Island Saturday May 4
http://youtu.be/G45mum1YitE video taken today around devonport after the front. CAUTION: slang, swearing and general sloppy filming, was a bit excited:), sorry if its upside down sometimes YouTube does it, seems ok for me this time. 53 mm since 9am

According to our not-so-weather-savvy journos at the NZ Herald, yesterday's flooding around Akld, 'marked the start of a weather bomb expected to intensify in many areas today'. 
At least they changed the original headline of the same ilk.
