Re: Large Tasman Low June 15 to 18th
41mm here now with light steady rain falling. Just been steady rain all day, nothing that heavy. radar seems to lose 'oompth' all the time. Anyways paddocks around the corner are water logged, prob very little grass visible by morning, they are half under now.

Very wet indeed a lot of areas around the region under surface flooding this morning, fire service has been very busy this morning around here with flooding even closing Clarkville school that will be the creek running alongside Tram Road.
This photo came up on facebook last night of the Anatoki Salmon Farm in Takaka, if you have been there you should understand the photo abit.

It almost never rains all day like this here. The Heathcote River must be about to inundate the whole city.

Re: Large Tasman Low June 15 to 18th
Such a great place I like being able to go and catch your own Salmon and they are big fellas too.
Rain is coming down quite thick and persistant now as the wind is more a gusty SE than straight Easterly, Dale Street around near the Mill is closed due to flooding and also Ranfurly Street.
Sirens flaring again not long ago heading towards Beach Road probably the Culvert along that road always floods.
