yes, will have to wait for this rain band to move through and see if it clears up and get some good heating going this afternoon
the 10cm soil temperature is up around 17C now
i.e so ground temperature can heat up quickly once the sun is out

Clear spell about to come into Tauranga, heading Waikato way. Patches of blue atm around, temperature gradually rising.

This current weather is not all that favourable. We are getting frequent skiffy showers passing through that is putting a lid on the heating.

Finally a proper clear slot coming in from the east, I hope it isnt too late!
A medium sized cap would be beneficial today, stop the straggly showers from popping up.
