Decent looking precip on radar. Thunderstorms look isolated while showers more widespread.

its building this way real fast now but sadly we are now down to 24C and much dryer air. I cant see it lasting much longer.

yes, upper flow southerly. The thunder risk with this convection is limited but heavy showers should continue for a while.

Cloud tops looked quite warm and fibrousy, yet they some of still produced lightning :)

The Convergence line/ flanking line looked very nice merging north from the storms/showers.

Some towering cumulus showers to the south of here this evening along the sea breeze line but most of Auckland remained fine and dry.

It got very close to us. Missed out yet again tho. Where we're just a little too far NE again.
