I have nothing really. Swinging all over the place but I suppose predominant is a S or SE or SW.

I can sea a really nice line if Tcu running N-S way to my east. It looks to me as that's where I should be heading an pretty soon too.

I plan on heading to NE Waikato in about an hour.

This might become a rather large posting if thunderstorms fire up in both NI and SI today and tomorrow
Overcast this morning with a light SW but cloud trying to lift now.
Rather mild though.

Todays set up for the south island does look marginal now on the models just inland along the foothills, but tomorrow looks very good I seen this last night when checking the models.
Potentially large hail for areas south of Christchurch on the plains, good luck to those in the north island today keep those photos coming in.

I just saw a very impressive +ve CG come out of the blue off the Cb up the coromandel pininsula.

I'm at Hampton downs race track.

Just been outside to hang out some washing - very heavy, moist feeling to the air and it's about as still as I can ever remember. Barely even the faintest hint of a breeze. Can see some cumulus towers going up over towards Auckland City and the East Coast Bays.

cb just popped up to my north-west, probably somewhere out towards Kumeu / Waimauku / Helensville way. I can see a few strikes showing from it on the trackers. Visually the cloud looks impressive.

It's stationery by the looks of it, just spewing out a large anvil streaming out to the south-east. Probably giving good rain to the area!

Just overcast in Oamaru ,Rain radar shows some activity on the south of the Kakanui mountains tho

Sitting umder a base with constant thunder in the Haraki plains. Looks to be all ic lightning.

Real convective rain here - huge rain drops!! Had to bring the washing in whilst getting pelted by them. Clouds are very slow moving
