You know you in the depth of winter when its mostly cloudy and its below freezing,-2.2 here,MS have really got carried away with Hanmer Springs forcasted temps overnight and today,they say -10deg bit its -3 now,then a high of +2deg,should be more like 6 or 7 deg.

Surprised to see a patchy light frost here this morning. Low was 2.4C but the temperature most of the night was 4C

good to see some decent frosts coming finally.
by this time last year we'd had 5 mornings colder than -4°C already and last year was the great non-existent winter.....

Yeah a high has sat on them for quite a while. Morning temps of -4.6, -6.0, -6.1, -7.6, -6.8, -4.7, -4.8 and on Saturday, -4.5C.

Been very unfrosty here actually.... not much of a winter at all really. Couple of good crunchy mornings but nothing notable like it has in past years..
