-0.1C overnight here and first air frost of the month (last Tuesday was close on 0.3C).

That would be the hardest frost ive had here in Oct,it froze the sprinkler heads on the irrigation that i had going for frost protection,thankfully they put enough ice on before they froze up.Richard wrote:-3.8deg this morning,

I had a sleep-in this morning and never got up until 9:30am but I did notice that the thermometer in the screen did dip down to minus 0.8C.

A bit of 'black ice' on the decking caused me to slip over this morning and rendering a bit of a sore right cheek on my butox

Last two mornings have been just on zero with a bit of frost on the car,wont be long now till it will only be a cold southerly that brings frost.

Yes frost on the truck this morning and yesterday here too, getting late for frosts round these parts.
