That would be the hardest frost ive had here in Oct,it froze the sprinkler heads on the irrigation that i had going for frost protection,thankfully they put enough ice on before they froze up.

I had a sleep-in this morning and never got up until 9:30am but I did notice that the thermometer in the screen did dip down to minus 0.8C.

Last two mornings have been just on zero with a bit of frost on the car,wont be long now till it will only be a cold southerly that brings frost.
