Nature can be very cruel Brian.

We had thunder an lightning every 20 seconds or so for over an hour tonight. That was great!

We see plenty of set ups that produce crumbs and here we have a set up that doesn't have much instability! There is a good ULT though which will be lifting the air.

I have had 10mm here last half hour.

Looked at it, then decided odds are I'd not be able to get to it in time and carried on finishing off my paperwork that I needed to have done this morning.

Still hanging out for rain here. We have had just over 10mm, in the last month. Lawns and paddocks around the Manawatu, are really dry.

Raglan got hardly anything just a light sprinkle with a few IC claps of thunder thrown in.

That was very noticeable yesterday morning. Lots of elevated convection around here. I instantly thought upper level trough.

Mine went 6 weeks without a mow. I mowed them last weekend and i didnt mow grass. It was all weed seed heads sticking up.

And i should add that my lawn is paddock grass not lawn seed. So that gives an idea of how much grass we grew over the past 6 weeks
