Wasn't it rather surreal to see the moon tonight (in between the clouds that is)!
I have got a couple of shots, but have no idea how they have turned out. Alas my camera is more sophisticated than moi. As it's all rather fiddly to download, I shall do it tomorrow and hopefully they might be worthy of posting. Meanwhile, has anyone else got some shots. Spwill, perhaps? - nudge nudge

Re: Red Moon - WOW
It's been an ill timed event for this event to happen as we have had continual cloudy skies with not much let up in the coming days except for maybe a day or 2 next week.
Never mind, maybe next time?

Re: Red Moon - WOW
Did try to look as well tonight while driving from Titirangi to Epsom 1845 - 1920h. too cloudy, managed to see a quarter moon but no reddish glow. Pity. They reckon we will get another three of these within the next 1.5 years.
