Are Tony or CWU based in Southland Bradley? No there in Canterbury.
Been a nice sunny day here a bit cool and windy but a high of 14C at some point and about 70-80% of the day suuny.
No moisture at all today and a very low humidity of 40% with the cold air.
Lets keep the conspiracy theories to their own thread...I for one done believe it.

Back on topic, fairly reasonable day here in ChCh today, just one brief shower early this morning. Maybe a few showers tonight?

More to come, I suspect, judging by the cloud heading north around here. Both inland and coastal.

The biggest punch from this system will be from now overnight, its certainly going to get wild as the low wraps in a more SSW flow lining up canterbury.
Might be the odd clap of thunder thrown in with heavy showers hail sleet or grapel ;P, the CBs brushing the coast to the SE are edging in more so now too.
What did we do without radars i guess the waitometer will have to do.

Just clipped that last shower, but winds are picking up now and as you can see on the available radars its moving in even some beefy CBs off Oamaru.

Nice photo steven :) I too saw this, this evening, a good indication of some instability in the upper atmostphere there.
