Frost here this morning, although much lighter than the recent few days. Down to minus 0.5C.
Some black ice in sheltered areas this morning. I noticed a school bus skidding in Newtons road.

The coldest point during the night here was -3 deg at 5.00am .now on -1.2deg, Waiau has been shifting around between -3 to -3.3 since 4.00. Culverden which is half way between was forcasted to drop to + 3deg (as if) Cheviot has been jumping around since 10.00pm when it reached zero, sitting on -1.2 at 7.10am

-5 in Culverden when I went through at 4am Richard, road in the Lewis was wall to wall white.

Well, there ya go!! The standard forecasting from the MS with not only temps but wind as well is consistently below par

This mornings frost reached its coldest point at 8.10am on -2.8 Waiau - 2 at 8.50am (must be under fog) and Cheviot -2.2 at 8.40am

Frosty here this morning with getting down to minus 1.5C but went off quickly as a NE sprang up and it has since clouded over.

Strangely the temperature never dropped any lower than the -1.9 at 10.00pm, it then stayed around the -1 mark the rest of the night, now on zero.
