Quality Canterbury historic rural data

Unread post by moylanr »

Any recommendations for publically available quality spreadsheet data from 2004 to 2016, in the rural area between Porters Pass and the east coast please?

At least daily total rain, average wind; ideally hourly max gust and maybe accumulated daily snow (I wouldn't be surprised if there's no snow).

I see "Your Weather" has one at Darfield. Is that one of you?

There are rumors of a NIWA site at Darfield but its not shown on https://www.niwa.co.nz/education-and-tr ... te/station. However it does show one at Hororata. Will check out Cliflo, but there is nobody responding to phone calls at NIWA this morning... And maybe you have other good options anyway.

Cliflo is your best bet, if you want to do it yourself.
