Abbreviated radio forcasts

If there's one thing that gets on my wick more than anything and that is abbreviated radio forecasts, CHCH MoreFM at 6.00am Wednesday "thick high cloud with RAIN this afternoon, tomorrow RAIN clearing in the afternoon', i heard that and thought wtf  knowing full well that little or no rain was going to fall (and it didn't rain). How many people who know little about weather may have changed there plans after hearing that?
I just wish radio stations would stop abbreviating weather forecasts by leaving out words like scattered or possible etc.

Yes, those forecasts on those commercial stations are not much to be relied upon, as most people these days just rely on a quick forecast to see what the weather is going to be.
Does MetService, {I know I have probably brought up this before} have a proper forecast instead of a "Short" Forecast ???
What say I want to have a "Longer than a Short forecast' , with weather a forecast for today to be more elaborate, meaning is it going to be much more than , just fine?

Radio New Zealand forecasts, each neatly arranged on one page:

Urban: http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/weather

Long range: http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/weather/longrange

Coastal: http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/weather/coastal

(I notice that only the long-range forecast is credited to MetService)

I like the Long range forecast on RNZ.
It is worded a bit different to what you get on the MetService web-site

SHORT FORECASTS
Why on RNZ, they say "Here is the short forecast from MetService"
I prefer a good forecast report rather than something that is 'short' , there could be something missing o_O >_<
Is that a weather forecast for those who want to know if the weather is OK to go around in shorts, rather than long trousers or cheapness on MetServices's benefit, in explaining the weather in much more detail?.??
People don't want "short" forecasts but much more detail with their weather
Just say "Forecast" instead of this "Short" rubbish
I may of brought this subject up on several occasions,
