Apparently , there were some active thunderstorms in Central Otago today.
Some people get all the luck? :eek: :rolleyes:

Good time lapse video _b

Noticed yesterday that Blitzortung only picked up three strikes in the two North Canterbury storms yet there were about 8 ground strikes that i saw while there would have been a lot lot more that were not visible because of the deluge of rain/hail.
