Wow what an amazing clap of thunder that was around 3am this morning. Woke everyone up in the house, sounded like it was in the backyard!

One clap of thunder in the early hrs woke me, the main Tstorm action was just north of the city last night.

Blitzortung shows 2 CG's in west and east central Akld between 3:00am and 3:05am - one near the Manukua Heads and one near Maraetai. Apparently some Waihekians were also woken by a loud clap around that time.Manukau heads obs wrote:Anyone get a capture of blitzortung at 3 am and or rain radar?
