Re: General November Weather
Clouds just to south of Ashburton look interesting at the moment, quite a well-defined and soggy-looking line

Looking very wet for me today, working outside in the Mount, Ohope & Opotiki areas today. Arrived with some good rates a short time back. Surprisingly warm/humid.

Re: General November Weather
Some humid weather heading our way later in the week, early next week.
Unstable skies around here today but a lack of convergence, Waikato perhaps the place for a storm this afternoon, some heavy showers/ isolated thunder there last hr.

General November Weather
We now have great heating going on now that the last shower line has gone. A couple hours of this and then another burst of showers coming in should provide very good fuel for them to grow into thunderstorms.

Yes. I could see that from here but the 'pregnancy' in it was lacking and you could tell that it was likely much to fade as the afternoon wore on.mikestormchaser wrote:Interesting how there's a convergance going from North to south atm. Heavy showers around Ashburton area at present

This wind is horrendous. I'm wondering if my station is recording it right as it hasn't recorded over 70km yet. We have had stuff blow over and break that we have never had fall over.
I thought it was supposed to ease throughout the day?
