As I have said, possibly on previous postings, I wish that MetService wouldn't use the term 'short' on their forecasts. i find that annoying.
Do they mean 'short term up to midnight' or... this a just 3 second briefing of what the weather may be like tommorow. [-X
Possibly , if you want a more detailed forecast then go to their website and there you will get a more detailed forecast for your area up to a certain period.
I haven't found that yet. Just a 'short' forecast as what they have said on the radio or telly.
If you look on their website, i can't find any elongated forecasts apart from their Severe Weather Outlook.
There are the apps, rural, mountains forecasts etc, but the term short is unsatifactory in my books as far as weather forecasting goes. [-X

....further to this, their "Situation Statement" ,is that brief and uninformative, it 's a waste of time of posting it.

Heads up, the Metservice Website is currently automatically downloading a PHP file when you visit. It is a script for snapithd webcams. Very poor form to be forcing it on users. :(

Sadly, it's about as useful as teats on a bull when something of concern (/interest?) is happening. :-(
