80mm since Sunday morning here. Baro bottomed at 993.1 hPa last night. Low now exiting off the NI. It's colder less wet cousin looks like arriving tomorrow evening in the Upper NI. Broadly speaking, rainfall totals in the upper NI were about double to what models were projecting on June 1st.

With the other thread currently in progress, I'll limit this thread back to 5th June.

Our local Gulf News reports that MS's nearby gauge in Oneroa recorded 80mm on Sunday, 45mm of which fell in the 2 hours from 11am to 1pm. Another 37.5mm fell on Monday (total 117.5mm).
"At Matiatia, ferry passengers were forced to wade through knee-deep water and the lower carpark was flooded during one of the wettest Queens Birthday weekends in recent memory."
