Japan heatwave

I see Japan recorded it's highest temperature on record today, 41.1C in Kumagaya. CNN reports at least 44 people have died as a result of the heatwave

The flooding and heat has been followed by some of the best thunderstorms ever. I really miss my lightning detectors!
