we need to pick a date when there is some interesting weather happening haha (e.g sea breeze convergent CB development?)

We will have a over head projector so bring your storm chase photos:)
We could also go to the local park to see the possible tornado damage

Re: Must be time for a weather meet again
I'll likely head over the Kaimai Ranges (SH29) through Matamata up (SH27) to Tahuna and accross to Ohinewai then up SH1 as that is the fastest for sure at this time of the year. If anyone needs me to deviate & give them a ride up so they can go, let me know. SH29 over Kaimais is usually my best choice as if it closes you still have time to divert in time for Auckland flights, options open up in the Waikato, not good choices the other way up SH2 and unlikely to be able to divert & still make flights.
Brian would you like a donation towards expenses? (What kind of beer or wine do you & your lady drink?)

Re: Must be time for a weather meet again
I have discussed that, but he seems to think we will get back too late for him to get up safely for his (very) early start Monday morning.

Re: Must be time for a weather meet again
the Pollok Markets are on the tight left hand corner at the small settlement of Pollok (named after a place in Scotland, Pollok Shaws) just before our place
