Max of 26.0C here now, just 0.2C away from my station's November record high

Not a breathe of wind and had a temp spike in the last 30 min to 27.8c, a November record on my station. Feels warm in the sun but with the dew point only around 14c, still not quite that summer intensity yet.

We made it, 26.3C = new Nov record in the almost 10 years the station has been recording

14.4C after todays southerly front went through. Maybe something to look for if this front gets to you. Will be slowed over central South Island later today

Had the "perfect" combo of warm cloudy night that cleared to blue sky just about dawn here. Already 21.5 at airport and simillar on my station. Well ahead of same time of other days this week.

I see Metservice are still using Manakau city temps for central Auckland on their website, Ak city is warmer on a SW flow than Manakau city with Manakau warmer on a NE flow
Near maximum sunshine here last 6 days apart from the high cloudiness yesterday, great for the time of year.

GFS had been modelling a clear day and heat in the south and west of Auckland. 850mb is around 13C.

So 850mb temp +15 is 28. That must be on the cards here. Over 25 already.

Now 27 and no clouds in sight. Quick look Clifo, for Ham Aero 28.3 on 28th in 2010 looks to be the November record.

Could still give that 28.3 a nudge, if the NW can go more NE. I've known the temp not to reach warmest of the day till 5pm in these type conditions.

Yeah, 28.1 was highest I saw. So will be close to the 28.3 that I think is the Nov record.
