Reached as low as -3.1 at 5.00am then started to warm a little after that. 20 years ago this morning would have been around a -6 frost

Down to minus 3.6C overnight and early this morning but went off quickly during the morning as high cloud cover moved across from the west.

Dont know why there was no frost here, clear night, no wind yet yet didn't quite reach 4deg

Another frost this morning before the stratus cloud moved in from the south. Down to minus 1.9C.

At 8am this morning air temp was +1.0°C and lawn looked frosty.

0.7C in Lyttelton right now, there'll be frost on cars down the road. Chch airport reading -3.8C. Brr.

Got down to Minus 4.4 here this morning at Christchurch Airport. Certainly right up there with the coldest morning of the year for the city.

Some ground frost here this morn, the 3rd frost for the year at my place and likely the final frost of the season.

Thought I had already posted Saturdays frost temp - -2.1deg. No frost this morning thanks to a cloud cover that cleared away just as the sun came up, perfect timing.

Yeah, haven't had a decent frost for a few years here now. Used to get them every winter. Very light frosting this morning with 2.1C

July 10th was a decent one, most significant since 2017. But given how perfect the setup that night, sure that would have been a -4 here circa 2015 or eailer.

Friday & Saturday morning frosts in Oamaru were beauties. Had difficulty driving on black ice in places.
