No frost observed this morning under cloudy conditions but tonight is looking like a good one with frosty conditions now and down to minus 1.6C already.

Just managed to dip below zero before the fog thickened up enough to start warming slightly.

Frost here this morning down to minus 1.2C but going off earlier than yesterday.

Got through June frost free here , 0.4 on the 10th but it was a cool fog that morning, no ice. Great grass growth as a result. All about to change now though. Hopefully if wind stays up will only scrape 0 each morning.

Good frost here this morning with some traces of it remaining in sheltered areas all day.

Think it has happened before but the result of a very wet,unsettled month. Difference this time is the ground was not too wet. On Country life on RNZ it was reported that Waikato farms have significantly more pasture coverage than normal and soil temps still in double digits.

Slight ground frost here this morning, frost number 2 for the year . Most years we get 4 or 5 light frosts at my location

Visually a heavy frost this morning, but air temp did not go below -2.3. Probably the heaviest ground frost since 2017.
