Yes certainly in the best location so EMF hypersensitivity shouldn't be too much of a problem.

World Health Organisation info shows its not really a problem:
https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detai ... %20effects.

luckily they are automatated...no one works there
thats a different story to airports:

Not a problem ??, yet it says in that study -
CONCLUSION

Altogether the results obtained in this study indicate that occupational exposure to radar microwave radiations may be linked to some adverse health effects. In this light, attempts for reducing exposure of radar workers to radiofrequencies generated by radar systems should be considered as a critical goal.
Conclusion:

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to show that occupational exposure to radar microwave radiation leads to changes in somatic symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction, and severe depression. Altogether these results indicate that occupational exposure to radar microwave radiations may be linked to some adverse health effects.

not a problem because its automated and in the middle of nowhere
airport radars though...they are placed closer to where people work...so more of a problem?

Good grief, this is a scientific based forum. Enough of the tin foil hat brigade already. Learn the difference between ionising & non-ionising radiation. Even then, the radar beam is elevated over peoples heads, not aimed at them. The weather radars are in the 5.8 GHz free band. You are all more likely to be exposed to a higher RF level on the same frequency band from your home WiFi these days.

anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction, and severe depression
those symptoms you could find in any high stress work environment?

Ask the farmers around the Rakaia area?

i hear that ski workers on Mt Hutt, where the radar beam gets blocked, can get their porridge heated just by leaving it on the window sill .... (joke!)
