Low is inching to the east of Great Barrier Island, heavy precip now in the Gulf and the Coromandel peninsular. Next few hours of the lows movement and behavior will determine how much come rain comes into Auckland.

Over the long weekend Whitianga got 248.6mm, Auckland Airport 9.4mm. The system was a bit of a flop for Auckland water storage but Winter is ahead.
