Apart from the rain later this morning, it was basically a fine day with cold NW winds changing more to the SW to south from around 4pm.
Despite the low surface hPa and a bit of heating, there was no trigger to activate anything substantial.
It was cold this morning with single figure digits until the cold snowy layer above dissipated around noon.
Total rainfall for today was just 3.4mm
Today's maximum was 15.5C when the cold winds dyed down around 2pm.
Cold evening with it being calm and clear at 10pm with a temperature of 1.2C.
