so I can mount it down low to get accurate rain readings from it, while keeping the older unit mounted high on a pole for best wind results.
which is what I have done at my Mothers place :)

Up high your getting offical wind, sure, you dont need to have it up high like the pros, up high is not giving wind speed in your conditions only from a pro point of view and not your own environment and does not reflect your place at all.

So just an update;
Just ordered an ECOWITT HP2551 from Amazon Au including a lightening detector and air particulate monitor.
Expected to reach me in the next couple of weeks, but I'll not hold my breath because of lockdown and obvious delays.
I will keep you informed as to what eventuates.👍

So much to the delight of myself and after several years of saving and being off line,I have finally commissioned the new station.
Just a few days of calibration to do,and then get back online, but up to now well worth the money and very happy.🙂
Total cost of the station including lightening detector and air monitor $445.00.
Mind you it's not as if we can spend it abroad at the moment.🤷🏼‍♂️

 Thanks mate.
It does now you've mentioned it.
It's a pretty sensitive little bit of kit.
The air pollution was reading 0 ug/m3 till a few minutes ago and then my nearest neighbour about 1k away lit his log burner and it went up to 2.
I can't wait to see how it reacts to a pollen laden day.

If you click on the picture it shows your air quality monitoring unit, but the thumbnail shows the Castlepoint Lighthouse for some reason?
I mentioned something about these thumbnails in the Forum Talk section.

 Thanks for the heads up John, removed the item. _b
Anyway all calibration tests have been performed and were surprisingly not too far out. Now online to Wunderground.
Link at the bottom signature.
Just got to decide what camera to have now. :-k
