The back edge of the line is looking pretty good on radar, we are still maybe 5-10km south of it and getting hammered

Activity seems to have retreated further west. Had some loud rumbles 20-30 mins ago, not so much now. Looks like it's developing to the north as well though

Some 60 dbz + echos returning on that storm. With radar attenuation on the Auckland Radar apparent.

the rain band seems to have stalled and is backbuilding/ intensifying again
temperature has dropped here a bit (now 10.7c)
we have large drops of rain that are "walking across the roof" , in amoungst normal rain drops

Sounds as you guys in Auckland got a good thunderstorm under Lockdown4. :smile:
Not down here, had to put up with clagg and a cold NE his afternoon. :(
Today' maximum was just 8.8C.

Flooding Candia Rd, Border Rd, Henderson. Just at Albany depot, bucketing down at the moment 01:31 hours
