Some nice looking cloud build ups to the north and south of me (Ashburton). A beautiful day that feels much warmer than the 22 degrees the thermometer is reporting.

Another fine day here in Geraldine with it getting up to 22C. Not much wind but a light SE this afternoon. Fine evening.

Skies are looking juicy to the north of Ashburton. Certainly a lot warmer than I expected today.

Clouding over this morning with some light rain and a bit of a southerly but clearing away with some Cu development late morning early afternoon especially towards the TC area but not coming to much except for some heavy showers there judging by the radar.
Colder SE through around 1:30pm, hindering anymore chances of development with low stratus moving in.
1.8mm of any shower activity for today.

After low cloud and rubbish cleared away overnight, it was a fine day with some scattered cloud around.
Today's maximum was 18.8C.

Southerly through here from 6pm.
Becoming more overcast with some light rain falling.

Southerly has arrived in Ashburton. Gusty and a few drops of rain. Radar suggests some decent rain to come overnight.

A generally cloudy day with not much wind.
The southerly came through around 6pm and then later coming onto rain with 13mm falling to 10pm tonight.
Today's maximum was 16.5C.

Another 14.2mm of rain falling overnight but easing away from this morning but remaining cloudy with a cold SW wind blowing for much of the day more so towards the coast. Becoming brighter this afternoon and towards the evening with today's maximum temperature being 12.5C.

Cold day here with strong south to SW winds.
Max for today was 12C but seemed much colder in the wind.
No rain here but showery out to sea moving northward towards ChCh and places further north.
Clouding over this afternoon with winds easing this evening. Fine out to sea.

Thanks for that Chris. I like to report the local weather for others to look at, whether they may be interested or not.
In the now deleted Weather Blogs section, I seemed to be the only one contributing to it, so that is why I decided to put my reports in the General Weather section, instead.
....anyway for today, a fine day eventuated with SW winds easing from late yesterday. Some scattered cloud around. Today's maximum was 16.4C.
