Still some unsettled weather for the first week of October but it will be associated with generally warmer air. Looks on the humid side in the north at times next week.

Yea this weather sucks. October better be better than September. September was a rubbish month weather wise.

Looks like Monday 4th will be a chance for the first day above 20c locally for Spring. My past years I've recorded were 1st Oct 2018, 9th Oct 2019, 23rd Sept 2020.

20.2c now locally. First day of spring over 20c.

Yes, Monday afternoon looks warm here, quite sunny behind the front and on the humid side, maybe a heavy shower also.

This surprised me, it seemed pretty overcast all day here. Did reach 18C though despite all the cloud cover.

Yes, surprised me as well, a partial break in the clouds gave a 2 degree spike within 30 minutes before dropping again. Otherwise it was cloudy here as well.

A generally cloudy day in the mid range levels but rather mild.
A bit of an easterly in ChCh today with one or two bits of scattered banner cloud around the Port hills and along the foothills of the Alps whist driving home from our meet today. Clouding in more so late afternoon/evening.
18.8C the max for Geraldine today.

Bit un eventful in Canterbury this coming week. Some patchy rain around the region tomorrow ( monday) esp mid/ south Canterbury.
