22m in the last 24 hours locally. Up to 87mm for the month.

A mainly fine day here with light winds. A bit humid and hazy looking with various cloud forms in a very much La Nina looking sky between the 2 anticyclone systems covering the areas east and west of New Zealand/Aotearoa. A few spits of rain but nothing registering.
Today's maximum was 21.1C.

North easterly locally, west Auckland observations showing north westerly. Little convergence zone now appearing on the radar.

low cloud overnight cleared away to a fine but hazy day with light SE winds.
Lots of high to mid range cloud which could become thunderstormic inland the next coupla days if conditions exist.
Watch out Central Otago fruit growers.
Today's maximum was 21.1C.

Up in Arthur's Pass (since Sunday) and not paid much attention to forecasts other than here so it was a surprise to see today's thunderstorm risk. Looks like I might be on the fringes of it driving back to Chch this afternoon. Enjoy the show down south!

A nice day here after the gloomy weekend, min 16 max 22C, dp 17C.

Could be thunderstromic in areas west of Oamaru at the moment.
Must be fine there to induce uplifts rather than the booring clagg we have around here.

Foggy overnight and this morning but clearing away to become another rather cloudy day although it did to tend to clear away to the south of here this afternoon. A bit brighter today than yesterday with today's maximum being 18.3C. Light easterlies. 0.8mm of drizzle overnight.

There were heavy thunderstorms Macraes Flat way yesterday arvo around 4 30 pm
