ECMWF was all over this...but has now decided the high pressure will not let it in
maybe it will show up again

GFS has been favouring the high too but the latest run is quite different. Still too early to take it literally, but worth watching...

Euro has it back in its sights too
it fits within the pattern of the next MJO

looks like its not going to happen now
but there does still look to be a pattern change coming 2nd week to mid march

more likely Fiordland will get rain next week from the system that has been giving record rain to eastern Aus instead of an ex TC
I am tramping there next week..bound to rain
