Good frost this morning, down to minus 2C.
Thick high cloud and NW Arch keeping figures in the single digits today resulting from the frost this morning.

I think a non-mountainous site is described as being below 500 metres asl.

MetService's Tara Hills, Omarama site (488m) down to at least -11.0C this morning, while its Mt Cook site (656m) down to at least -9.5C.
