Re: Mainland Meetup 28th April
Just came back from overseas today and feel worn out after a lengthy flight home from New Delhi via Singapore, so will not be driving back up for the meeting in West Melton tomorrow. I send my apologies.
Generally the weather was boring during our overseas trip except for a spectacular thunderstorm in Durban, SA.

Re: Mainland Meetup 28th April
Apologies, being the last day of the school holidays the airfares were insanely priced. Would have liked to. Just settling in for a day of armchair chasing today.

Yes great to meet you Orion and put a face to the names.
And really good to catch up with you tich and Richard!
Perhaps we do another meeting late winter/ early spring pre storm season and we could all go down and see John if you don't mind that John? or we could do a trip up to your Richard.
Also get Bob crowder involved.

Re: Mainland Meetup 28th April
Thanks for that podcast Steve and thanks to Aaron for mentioning mentioning me on it.I thought it was a good interview with Steve and Aaron covering all aspects of storm chasing plus other features about the weather.
....anyway, apologies for not coming up to West Melton for the meet as I have had enough of travelling after spending the last 5 and a half weeks travelling around half the world.
Most welcome to have another meet here in Geraldine in the future.

Re: Mainland Meetup 28th April
Thanks for those who turned up yesterday, I enjoyed the couple of hours we had together.
We spoke of having a spring meetup, Mike mentioned John's or my place, but its a 6 hour round trip for both of us though, I'm finding increasingly harder to sit in a car for long periods. I do think somewhere halfway is best
We'll work out come say September
