Easter Weather

Looks like a low pressure system will affect the North Island and upper South Island during the Easter weekend. Eastern parts of the North Island are most in the firing line for rain / showers with some heavy falls possible and thunderstorm risk.

There is model variation with the low system, see how it looks next couple of days. Gisborne/Hawkes Bay the main area in line for any rain/showers. Good Friday looking cool to rather cold across NZ.

Much better looking Easter weather for the North Island now with the northern low further east.
