I think that weather activity across the globe out side the Hurricane/Typhoon zones is rather weak in potential because of the powerful effect of "Ivan, the Terrible" heading now for the southern USA states. Now TC Jeanne is following Ivan's path in a productive hurricane season. Don't forget Hurricane Javier out to sea of the Californian coast.

6 tornadoes reported in the US today. Two fatal.

*** 2 FATAL *** TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ON THOMAS DRIVE AND GRAND LAGOON. TWO PERSONS WERE KILLED WHEN THE TORNADO STRUCK A LOCAL RESTAURANT. TIME ESTIMATED. (TLH)

POSSIBLE TORNADO...TREES DOWN AND ROOFING MATERIAL ON STREETS. EMA IS PRESENTLY DOING A STORM SURVEY. (JAX)

I see he's back. :evil: :evil: :evil:
This time having another go, looks like eastern Texas this time #-o but only as a depression.
I see there's no mention of Karl out there in the mid-Atlantic. Possibly the only danger from him is the dnager to shipping.
It has been an active season out there off the coast of Africa, with Lisa now on the tail of Karl :)

And Jeanne has done a loop, strengthened again and is now heading West to Florida for their record fourth hurricane in a season :shock:
