I like the look of the metservice 72 prognosis, a nice big low over Australia ready to move onto NZ...

could this be related to the unstable area over Aus that the attached image shows?

It is a misprint but then it could be a uselful high into directing disturbed and active SW/westerlies onto us :) :D
