Yeah, well it looks as though it is going to be like that in Auckland, or should I call it Kuckland, this week as we are going to get lots of thunderstorms etc from Tuesday onwards in the disturbed Sw flow that is following the front.
It will be lovely and suuny in Kuckland, this week, however!!!

Same here. :) :) :) :)
Lovely sunny day here in the "Garden City"
Wind still a bit on the cool side but it should warm up as the week progresses.
We had a frost here this morning. I got down to minus 3 in my screen.
Don't know what the official reading was.

Should be lots of sunshine around for much of the country to well into next week if this anticyclone hangs around.
Nice to see Greymouth get the maximum temp for NZ today.

Another totally clear all sunshine day for Christchurch today.
Sky ALL day 8/8 totally clear. No cloud was seen.
Shame about the cool Ne though, other wise it would of been a pleasant day :)

John Its like that here in our SW anticyclone weather - Bitterly cold wind but fine looks that way tomorrow as high divides in 2 as it crossed the county and a trough forms off the BOP and we get "Gales"

*Gales = SW Wind ;)

Temperatures would be upto 20C+ in the Bays in Auckland sheltered from the southwester such as Mission Bay, St Heliers Bay. ;)

The sun here is shining but for how long... as the synoptic chart shows the usual SW flow over us but it would also be good for the flower show :)
