A story in todays Herald quotes Jim Salinger
"Although temperatures have varied across the country, Dr Salinger said Auckland in particular had been colder and wetter than normal. The city had experienced half its normal October rainfall in the first 10 days of the month. Last month it rained on 24 days. "

We wont know our selves when the sun eventually comes out,What we need is a NW flow over us followed by a high pushing behind a front to the south followed by SE :D

For some reason, I think November will be quite anticyclonic over NZ unfortunately :(

...this is from some strong anticyclone advice from the NZAAA, the opposite wing of the NZTS ;)
