This photo was taken just after Twizel in the south island which I thought wasn't a bad photo of lashing rain spread out into a nice landscape.
Taken 8th January 2005 during my trip down south to Wanaka.
Cheers
JASON TIPPET.

All taken with Nikon Coolpix 5700.
Could put quite a few pics in here but I think the choice is my funnel more for weather reasons than looks.
No filters used, ISO 100 on Auto setting. This picture is not cropped.
One of my other photo's shows the funnel as being longer but I like this one due to the spiriling look of the clouds which is what they were doing...When printed off and blowen up I like this photo lots, it was a great day..
And here's some others which I'll attach:
This one was on the 18th Dec 2004. Nice hail shaft that produced up to 1cm hail, was quit hard hitting on the car! Just used auto mode with a wide angle adapter.
aw7_comp: Taken on the 7th Jan 2005 when there was lots of activity down south (Timaru southwards) but it weakened in intensity the further you went north. Still, some nice clouds about. I used a polerizing filter here at ISO 100, probably the other settings were automatic but I could've been using manual since I was using a polerizer. Taken near Glentunnel??
aw8_comp: Taken on the 18th Dec 2004. Rain with sunlight shinning through it. No filters, taken on ISO 100 probably auto mode. Taken near Oxford.
aw9_comp: Taken on the 18th Dec 2004. The same position as aw8_comp but looking the other way.
Cheers
