Hasn't The weather changed in the last few years

Does anyone think the weather has changed in the last few years?
In Auckland we seem to be getting even more wet days and wind and places like Wellington hardly get the drizzely NW conditions anymore especially lasting for days and then the abrupt damp galeforce southerlies and the lack of frosts in many places in winter these days and decent warm/dry summers we used to get.

I think the weather has got 'boring-er' over the last few years rather than changing although our nor-westers don't seem to be the same!
NE the more prevailing wind, than the NW
