Thunder heard 1730hrs NW Auckland at my position

Metservice has issued the following on there website:

In the north and west from Northland to Taranaki, also Coromandel Peninsula and the central high country
Occasional showers, some heavy this afternoon, with a few thunderstorms and possibly hail.


I can vouch for the thunder with heavy grey clouds to my NW, current temp is 15.6C, DP 11.8C and a 10kmh SSW breeze. Rain 2.0mm last hr.
