I'm in Alesund, Norway's west coast in the southern half. Nice sunny weather with light winds and north of the cold fronts sweeping across continental Europe it seems. 17C and fine today, but rain all day down in Oslo and 9C. I'd say similar to how Christchurch will get rain all day and Westport/Greymouth will be fine and warm with a slight foehn wind. But here's a video from last Sunday when thunderstorms moved across from Denmark to southern Sweden. 18C dewpoints this day. Does the train get fried or something by the lightning hitting the wires at 3:05? Interested to hear some opinions.

Yes, lightning may have hit the wires down the line.
I visited Denmark, Norway and Swedon by train, a great part of the world.
