A big welcome to the forum so how much rain fell from that storm and what is the average rainfall in that area.

Hello.
Usually the month of November the weather is dry in the north of Oman.
But this year is a strange that the area north of Oman exposed to storms.
Amounts of precipitation rain almost reach 100 mm in some areas, and in some areas has passed the 100 mm especially on the coast of south-east of Oman.

i would imagin that 100mm + would be a lot of rain for that area too, did it cause much flooding??

sure, there were much flooding especially in some area from capital city of Oman and in the coast of south-east of Oman.
There are 20 peoples is died .
my town Samail amount of precipitations rain reach to 89 mm but during two days .
