if you come out this way michael on a good NW/W or SW windy day, I will show you what 40 or 50 or 60+ knots is actualy like.
60 knots is where your eyeballs are starting to get forced into your eye sockets, and the noise in your ears is so loud you cant hear much else, and you start to find it hard to breath becuase of the pressure in your mouth

It is a very solid drop indeed - my barometer has lost the scale (digital barograph) beyond 6 hours.
1019 on Saturday
1009 on Sunday
998 right now
Going by what was written on the Aussie forum some of their media called this system a weather bomb due to the drop in pressure for a location rather than a drop of pressure in the system.
Lets hope for some tasty weather (not wishing property or life threatning on anyone)

Since we're drooling....
Can I ask for a small one of these (Preferably just after work)
With a dash of
...And how do you upload your own pics without having to setup a URL for them? For instance, if someone had a NZ FC pic to upload?
...Hypothetically.
Cheers
Pete
(AM band Sfx busy this evening, but nothing visible on the horizons.)

Hi Aaron,
Those images are from the States. To get the URL, right-click on the pic and select properties. You can then copy and paste the URL into your browser address bar and moan quietly at the other nice piccies
Well, the expected show last night, didn't. We did have one strike somewhere locally that pinged the power out at about 20:20Hrs but otherwise very quiet. I must have words with my mate in Aus about them sucking all the good weather out of these systems before shoving the remains out into the Tasman for us
Getting a good blow up here though. Currently averaging 51km/Hr with a 62km/Hr gust just gone through.
Cheers
